A property and its landscape are two halves of a whole. At Smith Heritage, we have the technical capacity and passion necessary to provide an equal level of care, attention and quality to your landscape as the property itself. Whether you’re seeking a unique leisure feature for your property, or recreating the splendour of classic English landscape gardens – indoor or outdoor, we can make your vision a reality.

Creating beautiful landscapes
Whether you want to shape the environs of your property, pool or a wider estate, Smith Heritage is able to provide wide-ranging landscape services to meet your requirements. From groundworks to bridges, gardens, utility systems, aesthetic features and leisure structures, working with Smith Heritage allows you to bring all these works under one project structure without conflict. There is no horizon too broad for us when it comes to shaping your estate. In one major landscaping project, we’re turning back time to recreate the classic vistas and wide-ranging elegance of 19th century formal landscape gardens. This ranges from hand-picked woodlands sitting in the distance to rolling lawns underfoot, plus waterways, gardens and ornamental features.

End-to-end control of your pool or landscape project
Many builders will subcontract out the excavation and shell construction of a pool, handing control over the quality and timescale of your project to an unknown entity. We can complete the entire process in house, seamlessly collaborating with your chosen contractor. That means the most essential and high risk elements of a pool construction project – which could cause major issues if not executed properly – are held to Smith Heritage’s exceptional standards of assurance.

Bespoke projects in historic settings
Smith Heritage are experts in creating truly impressive leisure structures in listed, period or other unique settings. We’ve created a pool in a Grade II* listed ‘castle’ property, surrounded by historic stone columns and arches, with automated sliding screens. Other projects have included a pool pavilion with bespoke glazing that retracts downwards into the floor. Handmade mosaic tiles, waterproof polished plaster for classical designs, invisible audio systems and efficient ground- or water-source heat pump systems can all be features of your new leisure facilities.
